Support of the Israeli Occupation
Harvard supports the Israeli
Occupation in a number of ways—politically, financially, and otherwise. We
believe that by divesting endowment dollars from companies that have
significant operations in Israel Harvard can have the most influence in ending
the current human rights abuses and the illegal military Occupation, attendant
with the settlement activity it has made possible and continues to enhance,
that have produced suffocated Palestinian life, identity, and nationhood as
well as Israeli security. More than $600 million are currently invested in such
companies. Below is a list of these investments (the companies have been
identified as significant investors in Israel by the Israeli embassy’s US
