MIT Investments In Israel

How great are MIT's Investments in Israel? This is a tough question to answer, and we are just now assembling numbers. The total market value of all of MIT's investments as of June 30,2001, was 7.3 billion dollars. This includes investments in mutual funds, real estate, and stocks. Separate from this, MIT's retirement plan reports the net assets of its supplemental 401 (k) plan at about 1.8 billion in 2000. So far, we have estimated only the information blow; more information is being sought and we hope to post it here soon.
